Job Title: Cost Estimating Engineer - ElBadr Light Industries (Signage Facility)

Job Summary:
As a Cost Estimating Engineer at our signage facility, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with the production and installation of signage projects. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to analyze project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Project Assessment:Collaborate with project managers and design teams to understand project requirements.
Conduct site visits to assess installation and logistical challenges.
Cost Estimation:Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for signage projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and market rates to ensure realistic and competitive estimates.
Bid Proposals:Assist in the development of bid proposals for potential projects.
Provide cost breakdowns and explanations to support proposal submissions.
Vendor and Supplier Negotiation:Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
Maintain relationships with key suppliers to stay informed about market trends and pricing fluctuations.
Cost Monitoring and Reporting:Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of a project and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare regular cost reports for management, highlighting any deviations from the initial estimates.
Risk Analysis:Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial risks associated with a project.
Provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Estimating Engineer, preferably in the signage or construction industry.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on signage projects in Egypt.
- Knowledge of sustainable and cost-effective construction practices.
