GENERAL WORKERS FOR INDOOR FARM WANTED!!

Rostered shifts between hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm
44 hours work per week
$2000 to $2400
About the job
Our Farm Operators will perform all daily farm procedures. This will include cleaning of all equipment, as well as end to end farm processes from seeding to harvesting in our indoor vertical farm.
What you'll do
- Work in factory-like environment with repetitive tasks (as the farm is automated, direct contact with plants will be limited)
- Work in warehouse/factory environment - jumpsuits and full PPE required
. On the job training will be provided to
- Clean and use automated equipment and machinery to seed, as well as to manually seed and harvest some crops
- Help to prepare concentrated nutrient solutions and supplies for plants
- Perform quality checks on equipment
- General facility and equipment cleaning and waste disposal
- Assemble orders for customers
- Help with material receiving, inspection, warehouse, and inventory management
- Adhere to personnel safety protocols
What you'll need
- Physically fit - able to lift up to 15 kgs and able to stand 6 to 8 hours
- Does not mind getting your hands dirty
- Ability to use electronic tablets for simple automated functions
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Basic knowledge of Food Safety (on the job training will be provided)
